the Nerd Synopsis:

Willum, an aspiring young architect has often told his friends about the debt he owes to Rick, a fellow ex-GI who he has never met, but who saved his life in Vietmam. Willum is delighted when Rick shows up at his house the night of his 34th birthday party. However, his delight soon fades as it becomes apparent that Rick is a hopless nerd with no social sense and even less tact. Willum’s normally placid personality is pushed to it’s limits and just as he is about to go over the edge and take drastic measures to rid himself of his maddening house guest, a surprising twist sets things straight.

Character breakdown:
Willum-Architect in Terra Haute, Indiana. Talented yet has little gumption about him.
Tansy-Willum's female neighbor. Career driven. Interested in Willum but not more than her job as a newscaster.
Axel-Willum's best friend. Theatre critic and meddler of affairs.
Rick-The nerd. Can quash a conversation within seconds leaving everyone with their mouths agape in wonderment.
Warnock Wallgrave-Willum's number 1 client. Self made man with little imagination.
Celia Wallgrave-Warnock's wife whose ourward appearance of calm and perfect composure tends to crumble under pressure.
Thor Wallgrave-Their 10 year old son. The tazmanian devil embodied in a human form.
